Haiku in the Breeze was an interactive exhibit at the North Carolina Botanical Garden this past summer.
The North Carolina Haiku Society and NCBG staff created 50, hand-lettered haiku on strips of grocery bag paper and hung them from trees and branches in the garden. Visitors were encouraged to write their own haiku in response. The response was enthusiastic, as you can see from the pictures.
