Recycled Virgin: Senryu by Lori A. Minor

written by Dave Russo

Lori A Minor, editor of #FemkuMag, is a body positive mental health advocate and human rights activist from Raleigh, North Carolina. Recycled Virgin is her wry and raw collection of senryu from Human/Kind Press.

Some sample poems:

small town gossip . . .
the pastor’s wife
tells me I’m dirty

first date—
we lay our kinks
on the table

my sex life just another oxford comma

Poet and editor Terri French writes: “In a voice untainted by societal norms and boundaries or personal inhibitions, Lori A Minor shares her voyage into sexual freedom and discovery. Her senryu are raw, edgy, honest, painful, passionate, and erotic. Lori invites us all to explore and control our own sexual identity and pleasure. Recycled Virgin is a very empowering book.”

Recycled Virgin can be ordered from Human/Kind Press.
