The local organizers for Haiku North America 2007 wish to thank our friends and sponsors for helping us bring HNA to North Carolina.
The North Carolina Poetry Society (www.ncpoetrysociety.org) helped us in two critical areas: publicity and grant applications. This is not the first time that the NCPS has helped bring haiku to North Carolina. Rebecca Ball Rust, a former president of the NCPS, founded the North Carolina Haiku Society (NCHS) in 1979.
Members of the North Carolina Haiku Society have devoted their time and treasure to help us with this conference.
Pamela A. Babusci created the sumi-e bridges for our logos. The logos combine a sumi-e bridge with text in the American Writer typeface.
Tom Priest of Mind Made is helping us with local marketing and event planning.
A special thanks to all who have made donations to Haiku North America 2007, including the Haiku Society of America and the Haiku Poets of Northern California.
