Ce Rosenow, former president of The Haiku Society of America, has published a critical appraisal of the NCHS executive chairman: Lenard D. Moore and African American Haiku: Merging Traditions.
Hardback and eBook versions are available on Amazon.
Ce writes: “It’s rare that a poet makes a significant contribution to multiple areas of poetry and poetic movements. Lenard is one such poet. He has been instrumental in the development of English language haiku as well as the continued growth of the American Haiku Movement, and he has also been a major force in making haiku a standard part of African American poetry. It was an honor to work with his poems.”
